In the tightness of her ass, Tammy could feel his cock’s every twitch and tremble. She felt his pre-ejaculation spurts seconds before she would have in her pussy, and she arched her back in anticipation of being filled in the back door for the very first time.

He filled her all at once, pinning her one final time as he made the last few inward strokes of his dick, being sure to fill her. Well, I guess no baby. Maybe next time.

After, Tammy was surprised that at Jeremy’s tenderness. He was a bastard and bad person, to be sure. But she was hardly in any place to judge. Still, she wasn’t the type to completely give up before she was defeated for good. And so, even as she lay in Jeremy’s arms, her thoughts turned to Mark, and to how she could use this to her advantage.

  Chapter Eight

After Jeremy left, and Alana had gotten Mark inside to ensure he didn’t commit murder (more for his sake than for Jeremy’s), Alana finally broke down crying. Mark had been surprised in the sudden rupturing of her composure. Just moments earlier, when Mark himself was ready to kill someone, and Jeremy had been whimpering like a school girl, Alana had been the most composed person there. But now that she had done what she needed to do, she let herself feel the verbal lashing she had gotten from Jeremy before he’d left.

Mark sat next to Alana, letting her put her head on his shoulder as they sat on the couch.

“It’s alright beautiful. He was just angry,” he said simply, letting her feel her way out.

Alana sat, absorbing what had just happened. Sure, Jeremy had always been somewhat verbally abusive, but he’d never spoken to her in those terms - no one had. To think that someone she spent a significant part of her life with could be harboring that, it frightened her. In a way, she was relieved that Mark had gone completely ape-shit on Jeremy. Somehow, she knew she’d just seen the worst of Mark. She also knew that Mark would never do anything to harm her. With Mark she felt safe.

Mark sighed. Part of him thought of letting it be, not even bothering to confront Tammy the next day. There was no way to ensure Tammy would leave them alone. Running for things, or letting them happen on other people’s terms just wasn’t Mark’s style. Tomorrow, one way or another, there would be a reckoning. Tonight, however, he would just be with Alana for as long as she needed.

The next morning, Tammy promptly threw Jeremy out. To his credit, Tammy felt, Jeremy offered no resistance to this. He probably could’ve had her again that morning before he left, but something about his demeanor insinuated that he was confident they would be getting together, again. Tammy smirked. She liked that about Jeremy, though not enough to give up on Mark. And she knew that, after yesterday, Mark would be on his way to see her. There was only one motel in town, after all, and a day left before her week was done. Tammy knew Mark wouldn’t just sit around and run down the clock down, knowing there was a risk for more trouble later. He would want to resolve things directly, and as soon as possible. An old business habit, perhaps. Or, and Tammy felt this was more likely, that was just the way he was.

It was near noon when Mark called, asking where she was. He’d been reluctant to come to the hotel room, but Tammy had said she would be there all day. She’d even gotten pulled a bottle of bourbon from her suitcase - Tammy had been saving it for just this moment.

He arrived wearing a full business suit. He looked sharp, handsome, and professional. Tammy smiled as she looked at him through the motel peep hole. He was creating as cold a line as he could between them, even with his clothing. Yet the suit was also a sign of respect, a battle armor Mark wore whether going to fight in a court room or a corporate office.

Tammy opened the door, looking serious yet sad.

“Hello, Mark,” she said, turning around and walking back into the room after propping the door open with a small trash can. Mark had had no intention of entering, she was sure, but since she hadn’t asked, he had no choice but to follow if he wanted to continue their conversation.

“Tammy this has to stop,” he said, entering the motel room. The contrast between Tammy, the classy socialite, and the seedy motel room was palpable.

“I know, Mark,” she said, sitting on the bed. Mark stayed standing. He looked around a moment, searching for a chair. Already put it in the closet, dear. Nowhere to sit but the bed. But first, she needed to get that guard of his down. It would be easy. People who were good had difficulty keeping their guard up.

“Mark, was being with me really that awful?”

Tammy didn’t care about his response, she had asked merely for the reaction she got: she saw his guarded demeanor fade, and he sat next to her - though at a good distance - on the bed.

“Tammy. We were a mess together. We never fully trusted each other. The difference is, after the divorce, you kept being a mess,” he said it with a wry smile, but he was serious. Tammy started crying. In part it was earnest. After all, what he’d just said, though true, was hurtful. Mostly, it was just another ploy reeling Mark in.

Sure enough, Mark scooted closer to her on the bed, leaning her head onto his shoulder with a soft hand. She let an arm rest nonchalantly on his leg.

“There, there,” he said, chuckling paternally. “Even though I’m moving on romantically, it doesn’t mean I never loved you or don’t care about you now. But Tam, this destructiveness has got to stop.”

Tammy almost felt bad about what she was doing. Almost. Here Mark was, despite all she’d done, being understanding and patient. Oh my dear, naïve, Mark. It’s going to be good to claim you once more. I’ll get it right this time.

It was time for the next stage in her plan. This was the tricky part. She raised her head, putting it on his stomach innocently. As she spoke, she pulled the hand away before he could protest, grazing his crotch.

“The sex was pretty spectacular, too,” she said, licking her lips. Just like that, Tammy had forced Mark to recall countless nights making passionate love. He sprang taught against his suit pants. What am I thinking, sitting on a bed with her like this? He moved to get up, but Tammy yanked him back down.

“Jeremy took me by force yesterday,” she said. Mark froze. I’ve got you now, handsome. You and Alana are over, and now you’re mine. The next few moves are a formality, Tammy thought.

“He…what?” Tammy placed a hand on Mark’s crotch. Mark was already taut against his pants from the previous conversation.

“That turns you on, Mark?” she asked, leaving her hand on his crotch, but looking at him with disgust and accusation. Mark was on the fence, hovering between tossing her aside and leaving, and explaining himself. This was what Tammy did.

Tammy straddled Mark, and as Mark placed his hands on her hips to toss her aside, she launched another volley.

“He did it because of what you did, Mark.”

Mark froze again. He recalled beating Jeremy nearly within an inch of his life. How had he found the strength to track Tammy down, let alone take her by force? Of course, Mark never allowed the question to fully materialize in his mind.

“I need you Mark,” she growled, undulating on top of him. She felt so good… Mark was beginning to have trouble thinking straight.

“I need you, Mark. Just one little kiss. Just to let me know I’m not nothing,” she said.

That was when somewhere in the small portion of his mind that was still lucid, Alana flashed. Mark realized that if he kissed this woman, that would be it. No more Alana. A kiss with Tammy would lead to them having sex, inevitably. Of course, he would have to admit it to Alana, afterward, which Tammy must have realized. He had wormed his way from her grasp the first time, but this time she would have him for good.

Summoning Herculean strength from within himself, he tossed Tammy onto the other side of the bed, pulling himself up - still panting.

There was a knock at the door.

Mark got up and walked to the door.

“You still want me, Mark. You know a part of you does.”

Mark turned around before opening the door.

  “Mayb
e, but with time that part will die.”

Mark opened the door, and there stood Jeremy.

When Mark saw Jeremy, all he could think was that he had obviously not messed this man up enough. Grabbing him by the scruff of his collar, he dragged him into the hotel room where no one would see the awful things about to ensue. Awful things involving Mark’s fist.

“Whatever she told you it’s a lie. I can prove it,” he said. He pulled out a tape recorder and pressed ‘play.’

“It’s morning. You need to get out now. I’ll call you later and we’ll get together.” It was Tammy’s voice.

“So that’s it then? You’re just going to use me and throw me out?”

“As I recall you came by here uninvited. Play your cards right, and you might be a lover after things settle down with Mark and I. For now, get out.”

Jeremy clicked the ‘stop’ button. Tammy’s eyes narrowed. She would have smirked if she wasn’t livid. That wasn’t exactly what had happened yesterday. The truth was, he might well have forced himself on her in his state yesterday. She had just happened to be open to it. The part of the tape he played gave the wrong impression. It was the sort of thing she would do.

Mark looked at her with a look of disgust she had never seen on him before. Her heart sank. She realized then that any hope she had of getting Mark back had evaporated completely with the playing of that tape.

“You two are perfect for each other,” Mark said. He left the room, leaving Tammy and Jeremy to deal with each other.

Mark got back to his grandfather’s place just in time to see Alana cooking breakfast in one of his suit shirts and a pair of panties.

“Pancakes and eggs for breakfast,” she said, smiling.

“Always a classic,” he said, taking his suit jacket off and draping it over a chair. Alana continued to cook a moment, waiting for Mark to explain where he’d gone. When he didn’t, Alana asked.

“I met with Tammy,” he said simply, smiling.

Alana froze, letting a pancake burn slightly on the griddle.

“Relax. It’s over now. She’s finally got it through her thick skull. You might want to get that,” Mark pointed to the pancake. Alana cursed and flipped it.

“Jeremy was there too,” Mark said.

Alana didn’t freeze this time, but continued to cook. However, Mark could tell that she was listening intently.

“You won’t believe this, but I think our two problems might just have taken care of one another.”

Mark came around the kitchen bar, pulling Alana in for a kiss.

Alana smiled. She didn’t know exactly what he meant, but she didn’t care. Alana trusted Mark. Trusted him in a way and on a level she had never trusted anyone. Besides, she was tired of talking and thinking about those two. If Mark said they weren’t a problem anymore, he took his word for it.

Mark reached around Alana, turning off the oven and bringing her close again. He rested a large paw on her supple bottom, squeezing gently as he gave her bedroom eyes.

“Our breakfast’ll get cold,” she said, her lips beginning to part in lust.

“I wasn’t hungry, anyway. At least, not for food.”

Alana squealed with delight as Mark lifter her into his arms and hurried to his room to consummate their love, their desire for one another.

In the moment before he tossed her into the soft bed, her mind recalled that summer all those years ago. She found it funny that in some way, this was inevitable. How had they taken so long to get here? Alana had no idea, and didn’t care. They’d gotten there in the end.
